As you can see in the photo above, those are the look that I said before, let's talk about them one by one. The first look is all about Monochromatic, if you had been paying attention on street style blogs, black and white is everywhere right now. The brands at Debenhams such as H! by Henry Holland and Red Herring mainly focused on black and white stripes for this mono theme and provide strong mono statement for your look. The second one is the look of Eastern Mirage theme, kimono shaped jacket, bold floral prints, and even embroidery are the key pieces for this theme. The floral kimono jacket and the matching trouser above is from Betty Jackson collection, isn't it a beauty? I've been wanting to stock up some matching jacket and trousers to my wardrobe and this could be one of my option. Let's not forget the beautiful oriental floral prints too! Its different from the floral prints that we have seen a lot and its perfect for spring. Oh how I love something that is different than the others. Okay, let's jump to the third one, it is the Kew Garden theme. It is a fresh new twist on the nautical trend, featuring flower prints and updated stripes, it is all about balancing bold prints or color with navy, ivory, or denim. See the look above, floral teamed with denim is just never wrong, don't you think?
The fourth look, my favorite of them all, is the Riviera theme. Taking inspiration from the 50's feel and Italian Riviera, this look I think is the prettiest. Very lady looking, elegant, has beautiful materials and prints also. I love the crochet detail on the top, it is just sooooo pretty (well, ever since I learn about how fabric is made in my textile class, I have this weird admiration on fabric even more than what I had before!) and the Sicilian deco prints on the knee length skirt is just a perfect match to complete your lady look
The collection is very exciting right? But hold up, I got another great news about Debenhams, The highlight of Fabulously British event itself will take place on Saturday, 20th April 2013 at Senayan City Atrium at 4PM and for the guest starts of the show Debenhams will bring Mr. Nigel Barker, BLAKE and Joey Mead King!!!!! Nigel Barker is a very famous photographer that, oh come on, you don't even need me to explain who Nigel Barker is. Nigel Barker himself will do a photo shoot for Debenhams Spring Summer 2013 collection, I am super excited (and so does my classmates, they are very hyped when I told them about this). The host, Joey Mead King, is a model, a very pretty woman with statuesque body and if you are a fan of Asia's Next Top Model, you must have known her. At this event you will see Debenhams latest collections, accompanied by a performance by BLAKE. So, save your date and come to Senayan City Atrium this Saturday!
I'll see you guys!
